Odoo implementation failed or stalled? It's fixable — and it's not your fault.

Most stuck Odoo projects we rescue were sold right and built wrong. The software is fine; the implementation wasn't. 42+ rescued Odoo implementations — many handed to us through Odoo's Customer Success team — and we've relaunched projects abandoned at every stage, including ones other partners called impossible. The first step is a free diagnostic, and everything you tell us stays confidential.

Free Rescue Diagnostic — What You Get in 60 Minutes

No commitment. No "rip it all out" sales pitch. If it's salvageable — and it usually is — we'll show you exactly how.

  • A structured review call: what was promised, what was built, where it stopped.
  • A read-only technical scan of your database and customizations — we sign an NDA first.
  • A written one-page verdict within 3 working days: salvage, partial rebuild, or restart — with reasoning and a cost band for each path.
  • You keep the verdict document whatever you decide next.

Why Odoo Projects Fail — Patterns From 120+ Projects and the Rescues That Followed

Over-customization

Standard Odoo handled 80% of the need; the partner customized the other 20% first — and broke upgrades, budgets, and trust. The fix is usually deleting code, not writing more.

No process mapping

Configuration started before anyone wrote down how the business actually works. The system mirrors a guess. Symptom: your team keeps "working around" the ERP in Excel.

Wrong partner sizing

A two-person shop took on a 60-user rollout, or a global integrator parked juniors on an SME budget. Either way: no senior hours when decisions mattered.

Big-bang scope

Eleven apps at once, no phase line, no go-live definition — so go-live never came.

Data migrated last and dirty

Testing happened on demo data; reality arrived in week one of production.

The 3-Step Rescue Process

1. Audit (weeks 1–2)

Code review, configuration review, data-quality scan, interviews with your team — and, if you want, a professional handover conversation with your current partner. Output: the salvage map — keep / fix / delete, with effort estimates.

2. Stabilize (weeks 2–6)

Stop the bleeding first: the 3–5 fixes that make daily operations trustworthy — usually accounting integrity, stock accuracy, and removing the customizations that fight standard Odoo.

3. Relaunch (weeks 6–12+)

A re-scoped, phased plan to finish what the original project promised — run with Go-Live 90 discipline: written charter, frozen scope, named date.

Odoo Rescue — FAQ

Is our existing investment wasted?

Almost never entirely. In a typical rescue we keep 50–70% of what was built: licenses transfer fully, clean master data survives, and well-built configuration stays. The audit tells you the real number before you spend anything.

Do we have to start over from zero?

Restart-from-zero is our verdict in a minority of cases — usually only when core accounting was customized beyond upgrade-ability. Even then, your data and your process knowledge carry over; you're restarting the build, not the learning.

Will you work with what the previous partner built?

Yes, and without drama. We audit code on its merits. Good work gets kept and credited; problems get documented factually for your records, not turned into a sales pitch.

How long does a rescue take?

Stabilization typically shows results in 2–6 weeks. Full relaunch depends on the salvage map — the written verdict gives you a timeline band before you commit one dirham.

We're mid-contract with our current partner. Is talking to you a problem?

No. A second opinion on your own system is your right, our NDA precedes any access, and we don't contact your partner unless you ask us to manage the handover. Many clients run the diagnostic quietly first.

The diagnostic is free. Staying stuck isn't.
